Zaria: Islamic Movement In Nigeria Retaliate With Hausa Song

The Islamic Movement in Nigeria has retaliated for the alleged massacre of Shia faithfuls in Zaria.

Shiites, military clash in Zaria

It will be recalled that the Nigerian army and members of the Shiite Muslim sect, in Zaria, Kaduna state, had a bloody clash which led to the killing of scores of the sect’s members on Saturday, December 12, 2015.

In retaliation to the alleged massacre, the Islamic Movement in Nigeria has released a very sad song mourning the deceased faithfuls who they called martyrs.

The video which had the sad song, went as far as quoting the Koran saying: “… and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice. Be just: that is next to piety: and fear Allah. For Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do. Quran 5:8″

The song ended with a call for people to respect the religious views of others. The full video clip can be watched on ABNA.

Meanwhile, the IMN has accused the Nigerian Military of killing a member of the Shiites group, Abbas Isiyaku while in detention. According to the group, Isiyaku was shot and denied access to quality medical care, thus leading to his death
