Buhari Has Been Vindicated In His Choice Of Ministers - Enang

The Special Adviser on National Assembly matters (Senate) to President Muhammadu Buhari, Ita Enang on Thursday, October 29 said the president has been vindicated in his choice of ministers.

He said this while briefing the newsmen after the confirmation of the 18 ministers earlier today at the National Assembly complex.

He commended the lawmakers on the manner of professionalism in carrying out the screening of the then ministerial nominees, while also commending  the nominees on their carriage during the whole process.
He said:“I believe that immediately after the presentation by the candidates on the floor of the senate, the questions posed to thenm, the way they answered it, their diction, their local economic view and the professionalism they showed in their areas of competence, the president has been vindicated.
“I read comments which said that the president was very right in his choice. What we should be looking forward to is their swearing in and the signing of their portfolios and you will not be disappointed.”
The ministers confirmed are Rotimi Amaechi, Mansur Muhammed Dan Ali, Usani Usani Uguru, Okechukwu Enelamah, Anwuka Gozie, Muhammed Bello, Adamu Adam and Aisha Abubakar.
Others are Adebayo Shittu, Khadija Ibrahim, Heineken Lokpobiri, Claidius Daramola, Baba Shehuri Mustapha,Ocholi Enojo James, Adewole Folorunso,Bawa Bwari and Geoffrey Onyeama.
Meanwhile, the Senate concluded the ministerial screening of the 36 nominees nominated by President Buhari on Wednesday, October 28.
The senate adjourned till next week Tuesday, November 3.
