Malaysia to hang another Nigerian student for drug trafficking

Luke Nnaemeka Ugwu, 29, has been sentenced to death by hanging in Malaysia after he was found guilty of trafficking 725.4 gm of methamphetamine.

A 29-year-old Nigerian student has been sentenced to death by hanging by Malaysian High Court for drug trafficking.
Luke Nnaemeka Ugwu, a student at a private college in Malaysia was found guilty of guilty of trafficking 725.4 gm of methamphetamine in 2012.

Justice Datuk Abdul Alim Abdullah of the High Court Shah Alam dismissed Ugwu's defence as mere denial and sentenced him to death by hanging by on Friday.
Student Pulse gathered that Ugwu committed the offence at theKuala Lumpur International Airport arrival hall in Sepang at 9.45 pm on May 15, 2012, Malaysian National News Agency reports.
Ugwu was defended by Hasnan Hamzah.
