The Hausa and Fulani Communities have endorsed All Progressives Congress Presidential Candidate, Gen. Muhammad Buhari,(Rtd.) and its Gubernatorial Candidate in Ogun State, Sen. Ibikunle Amosun while denying reports that it had endorsed any candidate from other political parties for the 2015 General elections.
The Community has also vowed to vote for all the APC candidates contesting for elective positions in the general elections.
The Seriki, Fulani of Egbaland, Alh. Muhammad Kabir while speaking during the interactive meeting of the Ogun Non-indigenes with Governor Amosun, noted that 'the Non-indigenes in the State is for APC, saying "we've not endorsed any other party".
Kabir said it would Gen. Buhari "is their Own" and it would be impossible and inconsequential for them to give their mandate any other party or person other than the general with acclaimed reputation and proven integrity adding apparent to the unprecedented developments that has dot the entire landscape of Ogun State under the leadership of Governor Amosun, the Hausa/ Fulani Communities are left with no other choice but to vote the APC for all elective positions in the forthcoming elections.
In the same vein, Seriki Hausawa of Egbaland, Alh. Ibrahim Hassan said they believed the change that is evident in all the APC-controlled State is an harbinger of good things to come if the party takes charge in the Centre while Seriki, Kara Market, Alh. Gbadamosi Mohammed also emphasized that the minds of the Hausa marketers and merchants were already made up to vote for no other party but the APC.
In its response, Senator Ibikunle Amosun thanked the leadership of all the Non-indigenes in the State including the Igbo community for their unflinching support while he called on them to vote for all the APC candidates especially Gen. Muhammad Buhari noting that this was the only way the wind of change can blow across the nation in other to engender a responsive and accountable government that would ease the people from the stranglehold of hardship and oppression currently experienced in the country.
