Gunmen Disrupt Polls In Delta State

Punch online reports that three gunmen stormed a voting unit at Ebedeni ‎Ward 6, Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta State and snatched ballot papers and boxes.

The incident according to Punch happened at about 1.30pm on just as accreditation was about to end. 
Before escaping, the gunmen descended on the only policewoman at the station, removed her head dress ‎ and took away her identity card.
The resident Electoral Commission in the state, Mr. Aniedi Ikiowak, was said to have visited the place shortly after the incident.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state could not be reached on the telephone.
Gunmen in Ebonyi shot two people in the early hours of Saturday. The victims were Mr. Mike Ojor in Ikwo Nnoyo in Ikwo local government area and the Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ishielu LGA of the state, Mr. Emeka Nworie.
