Jonathan sacks National Sports Commission Director-General

President Goodluck Jonathan has sacked the Director-General of National Sports Commission, Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye.

A Director in the NSC, Alhassan Yakmut, has been directed by the Sports Minister, Dr. Tammy Danagogo, to replace the ousted official.

Yakmut took over on Monday as the Acting Director General of the Commission at the
head office in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
