With the recent postponement of the general elections till March 28, Nigerians in Malaysia have endorsed the ambition of President Goodluck Jonathan and also warned politicians against rigging which they say might lead to the breakdown of law and order in the country.
In a statement, by one of the the conveners of the meeting held in Mutiara Komplex Kuala Lumpur, Comrade Biafra Diboh, who doubles as President Ohaneze Ndigbo, Malaysia, the group noted that Nigerians of all walks living in the country has indicated interest to support President Goodluck in his re-election bid.
He affirmed that the transformation agenda of the President had made tremendous impact on lives of Nigerians just as and the rule of law has come to stay with Jonathan respecting the views of Nigerians from all ethnic groups.
According to Diboh: “However, we will like to warn all politicians against rigging because we know some have not won any election in the past and are likely not to win a ward without rigging. This might lead to the breakdown of law and order in the country, if unchecked.
