The All Progressives Congress (APC), today, Sunday, February 22, gave a two week ultimatum to the Nigeria Police Force and The Department of State Service to arrest one of President Jonathan’s aide, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode.
Making this known to the press, the Party called for Fani-Kayode’s arrest as he is responsible for releasing a “fake” video of how the party allegedly rigged the August 26 governorship election in Osun state.
Gboyega Famodun, the party’s state Chairman in Osun State said the party would not allow any individual or party to drag its image in the mud.
He noted that should security agents fail to prosecute Fani-Kayode, it would compel Governor Rauf Aregbesola to set up an independent panel to look into the matter.
It would be recalled that, Femi Fani-Kayode recently released a video online saying that the Osun polls were rigged by the APC.
