LAGOS DOES NOT BELONG TO ONE MAN, LAGOS BELONG TO US ALL
We have past the era of ancient time when one Royal family will rule us for life. This is a modern day and democracy for that matter. Whether you like it or not, one thing still stands, its one man that is in control of Lagos. This have to stop we need to wake up and claim what rightly belongs to us.
Lagos State is too big to be in the hand of just one man. How can Lagos State be under the control/influence/affair of just one man? It’s time for a change and the change is now.
As far as we’re concern, Tinubu is the one actually still ruling over Lagos State and he has successfully done this for 16 long years whether directly or by proxy. If Ambode get there, that will be another four years of Tinubu reign and that must to stop. We are not in the ancient time where just member of the Royal family will be ruling us for life. Lagos is not one man’s property. Lagos belongs to all of us.
Lagos State is in the hands of Bola Tinubu, he controls and influence it at his will. If not that the constitution says you cannot use more than 2 terms, he will still be the same person that will be there today directly, but whether you like it or not Tinubu is still the one controlling Lagos State Directly or indirectly (proxy) by somehow going round the constitution in a way to suit him. If he has his way, don’t you think he will want to change the constitution like OBJ for third term and even fourth term? It was because that will not be possible for him, that’s why he strategize a way of how he will still remain in power directly or indirectly through Fashola and now Ambode to represent him. To us, Fashola or Ambode are just representative of Tinubu. It’s Tinubu that’s still in power whether we agree with it or not. Tinubu fear was if fashola remains in power for eight long years he might somehow pushed him out of the way, that’s why he want Fashola to do just one term in office so as not to override him.
Tinubu is not the sole owner of Lagos State. LAGOS STATE belongs to all of us.

He takes his percentage/commission from the revenue before he even rendered it to Lagos. What type of government are we promoting? It’s the government under one man.
Lagos Sate is directly or indirectly been governed by Tinubu in the name of his company alpha beta. His company dictates to Lagos State government. This must stop. How can one company be responsible for the sole collection of taxes in Lagos State? How can your Boss (godfather) be working for you? Where in the world are they doing that? Even when your boss misbehaves you don’t have the right to fire him instead he’s the one that can fire you. LAGOSIANS THINK.

How can we allow one man to be ruling us all this while for about sixteen long years? Bola Tinubu has rule over Lagos for about 16 years and still want to continue whether you accept it or not.
As far as we are concern Bola Tinubu is the Chairman of Lagos State while Babatunde Fashola is the MD/CEO. Of course, the MD/CEO could make and implement decisions, the Chairman has the right to fire the MD/CEO if the decision or direction he’s going is not in line with what he want.
Lagos State has become Tinubu company (property) where he deduct his profit first before he even give his company (Lagos) the remaining to take care of the expenses and for the smooth running of the business (Lagos State).
The people of Lagos, poor and not so poor must find it in themselves to exhale and resolve. The thief Dom which Lagos had become in the past fifteen years must be torn down. The wall of Jericho must lie in rubbles at the feet of the marched, insulted and disdained Lagosian. There is no more four years of our children’s future to throw away.
The prize is freedom from Tinubu’s stranglehold on the resources of Lagos State. Freedom!

That no brainer is very instructive to our discourse. Why would a “democrat” like him, who wants to change Nigeria, not prefer the centre where his party could make the most difference? Simple. No king wants to lose his throne. No slave merchant desires to lose his slaves. Lagos State is under the man’s thumb and it has become his most precious possession since he fled the United States over drug and money laundering charges.
Do not let anyone fool you into believing any other shade of the truth. The man paid heavy fines running into millions of dollars in Illinois courts. That was why Barrack Obama Campaign urgently dissociated with him. Yes, he enters the US now, but that is just because the heavy fines took care of that business. Folks who google should simply check Tinubu/Illinois courts.

All the fund/revenue/taxes in Lagos have been under Tinubu in the name of his company Alpha Beta. His company is the only authorized with sole permission to collect all taxes and other monies in Lagos State. Why would one company be in charge for the collection of taxes and other revenue in Lagos State? We believe Tinubu (Alpha Beta) is the only one (company) that can actually give us the true account of how much Lagos State is generating on a monthly basis. Maybe it’s even more than what we were told. Why won’t be multiple taxes?
Whether you like it or not, whether you agree with me or not. Somehow, one way or another Lagos and Lagosians are still under Tinubu rule.
You don’t know or never can say what program Ambode will introduces to collect money from Lagosian or other avenue of introducing some form of payment on something we need to enjoy for free from government e.g LAWMA and even increases all levies/taxes Fashola have formally introduces all in the name of Lagos State is working and more infrastructure needed to be built. We are very sure that if Tinubu has his way as the president of this great country (Nigeria), we won’t be surprised if we are to pay for the service, the Nigeria police are rendering directly. Some people are even in support of multiple taxation, comparing Lagos to the likes of UK, Europe. Most things in Lagos have been monetized. Must we wait until we are suck hard and dry before we understand what is going on? Look at the case of commercial drivers for instant; imagine all various avenues the “Agberos” used to collect money from commercial drivers under the umbrella of NURTW. As a commercial driver in Lagos, if you are not careful, you won’t have anything to take home with you. It’s just as if you are working for the “Agberos” (NURTW), Lagos Chapter. They have done it to the extent that the commercial driver is now powerless and the Agberos is beyond them. Must we wait for that to happen to us before we know what to do or take action right now when we still have the power and the time?
Have you ever asked how Ambode intend to generate employment for the youth through mutual fund? First ask yourself what’s mutual fund? It is a form of collective investment in which money from investors is pooled and invested in stocks, bonds, short-term money market instruments, under the direction of a fund manager.
Now asked yourself, is it the youth that don’t have a job that money will be collected from them and use to invest. What if the investment failed, what will happen to youth who contributed their hard earned money?
It’s never too late for us to turn back and set things right for a change in leadership, a change of government and set the record straight.
