PDP Chieftain Condemns Metuh Over Comments Against APC

Hon. Prince Ajulu, the administrative secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra state under the leadership of Ejike Oguebego, has taken a swipe at the party’s national publicity secretary Olisa Metuh, following his inciting comments against the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Metuh had on November 18 in a press conference at Abuja, alleged that police operatives, acting on the orders of the APC government have been hounding, beating-up and arresting PDP members and supporters.
He claimed that Nigerians are witnesses to the increasing muzzling of opposition by APC, using security force, judicial persecution, adding that the Nigerian police may have become a compromised instrument in the hands of the APC federal government in its bid to forcefully take over PDP states.
Reacting however to Metuh’s claims, Ajulu said the PDP spokesman is afraid of his own shadow.

Ajulu’s statement was contained in a message sent to The Nation on Monday, November 30, and copied to the members of the national executive council (NEC) of the party, the national acting chairman of the party Uche Secondus, Chairman Board of Trustees (BoT) and members of the (NWC) of (PDP).
Ajulu said: “I’m surprised that this same Olisa Metuh who is the brain behind the manipulation of judicial process in suit No: HIH/6/15, Ken Emeakayi vs PDP, illegally imposed him on Anambra.”
The PDP chieftain, who is a lawyer, alleged that Metuh did such in also desperate bid to retain self in the National Working Committee (NWC) in 2016 as what he described as life member.
Meanwhile, Olisa Metuh has called on the deputy gubernatorial candidate of the APC  in the Kogi election to remain calm.
Metuh in a conversation said James Faleke’s move to side-line the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to declare him winner of Saturday’s election in Kogi is inappropriate.
Metuh said: “Well It is completely inappropriate of him, he is coming out too soon after the death of his boss; he should be in mourning, mourning the candidate that would have made him deputy.”
For Falake, the deputy gubernatorial candidate, let him keep cool and stay where God has put him, let him take it easy and wait for God’s time. That is our warning to him, he appears to be overly excited and being unduly happy about the demise of his boss.”
