“Lia Mohammed Responsible for Maiduguri Attacks

As Residents of Maiduguri currently flee the City to seek refuge in the face of the ongoing battle between the Nigerian Army and Boko Haram Insurgents, who made serious attempts this evening to retake the Capital City of Borno. Nigerian’s need to hold its information minister accountable for this attack.


A few days ago, Lia Mohammed Informed the public and the media that the Nigerian Government had won the War Technically against Boko Haram.

This statement which was evidently another form of propaganda was eventually going to force out a statement from Boko Haram that the war against them had not been technically won.

The fact that this Terrorists were still able to infiltrate and attack Maiduguri despite the Huge Military presence showed that the war against Boko Haram is far from over.

The Nigerian government should do well to stop playing politics with this Insurgency and take decisive action against this terrorists. Because propaganda will surely cause more harm than good as shown in Maiduguri.
