PDP Cannot Resurrect In Kaduna - Commissioner

Kaduna state government has stated that Peoples Democratic Party is dead and buried in the state and there is no chance of the party reviving.
Governor Nasir el-Rufai
This statement was made by the commissioner of local government, Muhammed Bashir Saidu, when he spoke with newsmen at the Government House.
He said that PDP had exhausted all its goodwill over the high level of corruption its members perpetrated saying that Nigerians had not lost memory of the trama they suffered during its 16-year of misrule, National Mirror reports.
The commissioner explained that the state government will start prosecuting those that allegedly stole from the state treasury.
Saidu pointed out that Governor Nasir el-Rufai has started to rekindle the hope of the people stating that the dark days in the state are over.
He said: “PDP can say anything but what the masses know is that PDP is dead and buried. The party has gone forever and for the good of Nigeria and Kaduna State in general. PDP will never resurrect in Nigeria and Kaduna State.
“If PDP did not win elections when they were in power with all the government machinery, how can they win? What I know is that ,the party short changed Nigerians and there is no way PDP will come back to power” Saidu added: “For example in Kaduna State, the past administration of PDP awarded contracts and collected the money without doing the job. The revelations we are getting about the activities of PDP’s last administration will shock you. The monumental stealing that took place by PDP administration is under investigation and we will soon hand over looters to security agencies for arraignment
el-Rufai had said that he is tired of being governor already as there are lots of herculean tasks to address.
The governor said this at the just-concluded Ake Arts and Book Festival which took place in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
