John Terry has paid tribute to Jose Mourinho after the 52-year-old was sacked by Chelsea on Thursday.

Mourinho has ended his second stint at Chelsea seven months after winning the Premier League title but leaves with the club 16th in the table, with just 15 points from 16 games.

Terry, who was dropped by Mourinho this season, has hailed his former manager as "the very best I have ever worked with" in a message on Instagram.
