A former Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Bode George, has described former Governor of Lagos State, and All Progressives Congress leader, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a selfish leader. Geroge stated this in an interview with PUNCH newspaper, about the crisis emanating from the National Assembly leadership elections and other issues. He stated that all Tinubu has done is to remain a local champion.
He added that Tinubu has become powerful at the local level, hence the reason he was able to determine who becomes governor and who emerges the Speaker of the House of Assembly. George further stated that Tinubu failed in his bid to apply the system at the national level. The PDP Chieftain disclosed that even without Tinubu, the Yoruba cannot be marginalised or made to suffer
