It feels like 2015 all over again as Nigerians discuss the ongoing US Elections.




Nigerian media houses and social networks are all reporting on the US election - it is the biggest event in Nigeria today. The US now feels like an extension of Nigeria. Friends, families and foes are arguing over Republican Candidate, Donald Trump and Democratic Candidate, Hillary Clinton. Nigerians not affected by the recession have even gone ahead to place bets.


Following the passion expended on the election by Nigerians, one would believe that whoever emerges the next President of the United States will have a huge impact on country. During the campaign, Libya, Syria, Mexico and other countries have been mentioned.
